One of the great wineries in the Central Victorian region is Mitchelton Winery and now they have opened a cellar door in Heathcote, which also includes the Ministry of Chocolate.
The old Bank building (circa 1886) is their new Heathcote Cellar Door, and they have a range of fantastic Central Victorian wines as well as their new line of Heathcote wines as they become available.
And don’t forget the Ministry of Chocolate Café, serving great coffee, a range of cakes, pastries and chocolates all produced by The Ministry of Chocolate which is also located at the Mitchelton Winery.
The Chocolate café offers grazing platters featuring local produce, a range of gourmet pies and ultimately serve High Tea upstairs in the old residence rooms.
Do yourself a favour and make sure you stop in here, it is just on an hour 15 minutes from our Melbourne depot and should be your first stop on your trip through central Victoria.
