Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park VIC is one of the great leisure or caravan parks in Victoria. It is a destination resort for so many people and we highly recommend that you spend a few days here. Quite a few!
The facilities are amazing – from the pool and jumping castle to the tennis court and basketball half court. You would think was pretty good, but they also have canoe hire, paddle boat hire, a games room, two boat ramps and access to both the Goulburn River and Nagambie Lake.
And as if that wasn’t enough, they have now put in a pumptrack for BMXers and Mountain Bikers, so expect the kids to spend all day here and sleep well at night! There are also many events on the Lake, such as regular rowing events and the increasing popular Canoe Polo, a game you must see once in your life.
You also have Mitchelton and Tahbilk just down the river, and so you don’t have to worry about drink driving, you can take the Goulburn Explorer straight to these great wineries. If you head to Mitchelton, make sure you have lunch there at either the restaurant or the café and ask to go up the tower. Tell them we sent you!
