LET’S GO MOTORHOMES COVID-19 CUSTOMER FAQS

The safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff is our number one priority, and as such, we understand there will be many questions surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak.

 

Below we have answered some of your frequently asked questions and referenced government guidelines of best practice at this time.

 

We remain in operation and continue to maintain our high levels of cleaning and hygiene to ensure all our staff and customers’ wellbeing.

 

  1. Is Let’s Go Motorhomes currently taking bookings?

 

Yes, Let’s Go Motorhomes is still taking bookings for the current period and into the future, as usual.

 

  1. Are drive holidays safe in this current climate?

 

Official government advice on COVID-19 confirms that yes, drive holidays in Australia are safe. We recommend, as per the official advice, that everyone travelling maintains good hygiene on their trip through regular handwashing.  

 

Before you set off, please ensure you have plenty of soap and a good surface cleaner to keep your vehicle clean and fresh.

 

All Let’s Go Motorhomes are deep cleaned in between bookings, ensuring all elements of the vehicle are rid of any germs before handed to our next customer. We maintained this high level of hygiene before the virus outbreak and will continue this long into the future.

 

  1. Are campgrounds still open?

 

Many campgrounds across Australia continue to operate safely during this time, per government advice.

 

To make sure your destination is still open, be sure to check ahead directly with the campground.

 

  1. Are your branches still open?

 

All our branches are open and operating as normal. All staff have undertaken specific COVID-19 health and safety training to ensure all our staff and customers remain safe at this time.

 

  1. What procedures are in place to help protect staff and customers?

 

We are putting strict measures in place to ensure we protect all customers and staff. We are working closely with the Department of Health and adhering to the advice provided by the Chief Medical Officer and the World Health Organisation.

 

The team at Let’s Go Motorhomes have undertaken specific COVID-19 health and safety training to ensure all our staff and customers remain safe at this time.

 

This includes regular handwashing, practicing safe distance between customers and each other when interacting, and ensuring all branches are well-stocked with hand sanitiser at all times.

 

If a staff member is feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms of an infectious disease, they are instructed not to come to work.

 

  1. What cleaning measures has Let’s Go Motorhomes put in place to respond to COVID-19?

 

Let’s Go Motorhomes has long-standing, thorough cleaning practices which are used in between every single rental. These involve the following:

  1. What happens when I’m feeling unwell prior to picking up my motorhome?  

 

If you are feeling unwell and have one or more of the COVID-19 symptoms, please be mindful of the health and wellbeing of those around you and stay at home.

If you have already picked up your motorhome and then develop symptoms, please contact us here and we can advise you on the best means to return your vehicle.

 

  1. What is the best way to stay safe when travelling?

 

The government has advised regular handwashing and good hygiene practices to stay safe at this time. Full details can be found on the government website.

 

  1. What if I want to change or cancel my booking?

 

We are experiencing a higher volume of enquiries than usual at this current time. If your booking is within the next two weeks, please call us on 1800 LETSGO (538 746).

We will endeavour to respond to your email within 24 hours.

 

If you booked through an agent, please contact them directly.

 

  1. If I’m an international traveller, can I still pick up my motorhome upon arrival in Australia?  

 

All persons arriving into Australia, whether Australian or foreign, are now required to self-isolate for 14 days upon their arrival. If this will affect your booking, please contact us now and we can help you defer or cancel your booking. Visit our website for our contact details.

 

 

  1. If I come into contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 during my motorhome rental, what should I do?

 

According to the government advice, if you have been in contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19, you are required to self-isolate for 14 days. Please contact us on 1800 LETSGO (538 746) to organise next steps.
